CODY the Jindo
3 years spent in foster care with Nami Kim’s ‘Save Korean Dogs’

Sandy Sallstrom

James Tsai is an exceptional trainer! Foster dog Cody originally a survivor of the DMT in South Korea, fostered in California was sent to me when he was not progressing with the help of trainers and other advisers in the US.

Cody is reactive and aloof and at 3 years of age had never been leashed and walked. His reaction was to completely freak out, try to chew through
any type of leash (mostly successfully) to the point of hurting himself at times.

At a complete standstill I enlisted the help of James and within a 2 hour session he had Cody outside leashed and walking! This is opening up a whole new world for this dog and has helped Cody in so many ways. I am eternally grateful and have learned so much from James. I would recommend James Tsai to anyone as he is amazing!

MINGKI the Jindo
contracted for Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, Los Angeles

Marc Ching, founder AHWF

“Wow! Thanks so much James. The change is unbelievable. In such a short time.” ~ Marc Ching

Mingki was considered by top trainers in Los Angeles as “impossible and will never be socialized”

SID – 14 Years Old Dog

Sandi Nielsen

I really want to highly recommend James Tsai of Arf Arf Bark Bark dog rescue and retraining.

James is nothing other than magic when it comes to any dog issue you have – it is hard to explain but he knows just by looking and feeling and being around the dog – his success rate is 100% and that is not an exaggeration – he can take dogs that are so aggressive and no one will touch down in under a half an hour to where they can be loving and quiet.

James took Sid out as he has been having terrors to the point of not wanting to walk anywhere he usually does, shaking, teeth chattering, panicking, crying – it was so heartbreaking.  Within 10 mins James had him calmed down to the point of going into stores, ATM’s and walking confidently down the street.

The most stunning change was Sid actually playing with a puppy.  In his 14 years Sid has been puppy aggressive to the point of biting and drawing blood.  He would be come enraged and lose his mind.  I have NEVER once seen him want to play with a puppy and then the other dog that was there crowded Sid which is another trigger for his aggression and he started to play.  My jaw was on the ground.

I cannot put into words what James has besides a gift and a sixth sense.  His talents have been documented and written about. From simple to complex issues James can assess and tell you what is wrong with some simple basic ways to fix the behaviour.

Sid literally ran into one of his favourite stores the other day and I had to pull him out when it was time to go! Some days he shakes a bit and I reset him as I was taught and he is more often than not, good to go.

James is special – truly special with something that you cannot see. Do not hesitate to use his talents. He is a wonderful man with a GIFT.

Your dog’s life will be better, calmer, easier and so will yours.

Grover – adopted from CAARE Rescue

Jeannette Taylor (and Grover featured in national tv segment about James Tsai)

I am a foster parent of a rescue pup named Grover after one week with him he started acting aggressive, and I know he needs time, but he is on probation with our family to see if he is a match for our furever home. I called Sara our representative for Caare Rescue and told her of my concerns with his barking loud, and showing his teeth, snarling, jumping, and Dominating behavior.

She immediately gave me James number, and I texted him who I was, and what was happening with Grover, he replied right away, by that Saturday morning we were meeting him at the doggy park. James got to see first hand how dominating Grover was, as he was finishing with another family who had the biggest Bull Mastiff I’ve ever seen, and of course Grover had to try, (key word TRY) to dominate this huge dog who’s head was as big as Grover himself, James held back the big dog as Grover barked, jumped, snarled, and tried to show dominance.

I thought that would be the end of Grover for sure, but James is like the miracle dog master as he gently quieted the barking Bull Mastiff and Grover and let the big dog off his leash and the dogs checked each other out in a rather rough way but not actually hurting each other and before you know it they were running together and playing like best friends.

After that we went for a walk and James explained to us different things Grover does to show his anxiety or comfort levels and when we need to leave him be, (when he’s playing too rough) or when he needs a calmness and reassurance. Overall James helped us so much dealing with our pup who is at the ripe age of one and a half, perfect time to get him on the right track.

James explained to us Grover has an ability to seriously harm someone and it is essential to be consistent with his rules and we will have a wonderful best friend to be with us forever.

James still checks up occasionally to see how Grover is, he is great
and you can definitely feel he really cares and I would recommend James to everyone who has a dog to at least talk to him once and learn the right way to read your animals behavior as sometimes it
comes out one way but means something totally different.

Thank you James two thumbs up!
